Windows 10 update
Windows 10 automatically searches for any available updates, then downloads and installs them on the device. This is done repeatedly and automatically, in order to develop the security features available through this system, and to keep the computer containing the latest features. The user can manually check for any available updates for this system, by following the following steps:[١]
- Click on the Start button.
- Open the Settings menu, which appears as a cogwheel on the computer screen.
- Select the Update & Security option.
- Click on the Windows Update option.
- Click on the Check for updates button.
Windows 8.1 Update
Here are the steps to update Windows 8.1:[٢]
- Drag the mouse pointer to the right corner of the screen to display a list of options.
- Click on the Settings option.
- Click on the button Change computer settings (Change PC settings).
- Select the Update and recovery option.
- Click on the option Choose how Choose how updates get installed.
- Click on the drop-down menu icon at the bottom of the Important updates option.
- Click on the Install updates automatically button.
- Select the check box next to Give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates.
- Click on the Apply button.
Windows 7 update
Here are the steps to update Windows 7:[٣]
- Click on the Start button.
- Click on the Control Panel option.
- Click on the System and Security option.
- Click on the Windows Update option, to display a screen containing important updates, recommended updates, or even optional updates.
- Click on the available updates, then install all or some of these updates by clicking on the box. The selection appears next to the update you want to download. And install it on the device.
