Various supplications for distress and worry
There are many different supplications that a servant can repeat to get rid of distress and worry, as follows:
- O God, O Ever-Living, O Giver of Life, O Sufficient, O Generous, reward me for my affliction with contentment. Pardon, wellness, and permanent recovery, in this world and the hereafter, and good compensation. In the husband, family, body, money, friends, work and children, You are capable of everything.
- O God, have mercy on me with your mercy, remove the harm that has befallen me, and provide me with a beautiful and immediate salvation.
- O Allah, O Reliever of distress and O Remover of sorrow, O Answerer of the supplications of the distressed, Most Merciful of this world and the Hereafter and Most Compassionate of them both, have mercy on me with a mercy from You that will make me independent of the mercy of anyone other than You. O Allah, remove my distress, O Reliever of distress. There is no god but You, glory be to You. Indeed, I was among the wrongdoers.
- O God, who held back the hand of Abraham from slaughtering his son, and who raised the status of Joseph above his brothers and family, and who had mercy on the tears of David and removed the distress of Job, and who answered the call of the needy and removed the sorrow of the sorrowful, I ask You to answer my call and remove my sorrow and worry, O Lord of the worlds.
